Saving Alabama's Underdogs, One at a Time
Underdog Rescue of Alabama is a volunteer-run, 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to rescuing dogs from high-kill shelters, neglect, and unsafe situations across the state.
We believe every dog — no matter their background, breed, or baggage — deserves a loving home and a shot at a great life. We work tirelessly to find each dog a family that fits them perfectly.
Our dogs come to us scared, sick, or surrendered. They leave healthy, loved, and ready for their forever home. That transformation happens because of people like you.

Fill out our online adoption application. It helps us match the right dog to your lifestyle and home.

We'll review your application and set up a meet-and-greet with the dog you're interested in.

Once approved, take your new best friend home and begin your life together. We're here every step of the way!
